MODULE 1

BEST PRACTICES IN BUILDING DEFECTS IDENTIFICATION

Take your facilities management skills from reactive to proactive. This module gives you the tools to spot building defects early, prevent costly failures, and communicate findings with impact.

Training Objectives

Modern facilities management requires more than technical expertise — it demands foresight, effective communication, and the ability to act strategically. Too often, professionals excel in one area while overlooking others, resulting in reactive fixes instead of proactive solutions. Best Practices in Building Defects Identification, the first module in a four-part series, bridges this gap. Participants will learn to extend asset longevity by detecting and addressing defects early, mitigate risks through inspections and preventive measures, achieve operational excellence with clear, impactful reporting, and lead strategically by treating asset management as a core business driver. This program transforms reactive maintenance into proactive management.
